Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center, located in the Catskill Mountains of New York, represents a comprehensive example of FAY’s operational management capability. Following the acquisition of the resort, FAY assumed direct operational control of the property and initiated a full-scale restructuring programme.

The engagement included the implementation of new property management and financial reporting systems, a complete restructuring of the resort’s organizational structure, and the introduction of modern operating procedures across all departments. FAY developed and began executing a multi-year capital investment plan encompassing targeted refurbishment of guest rooms, public areas, food and beverage facilities, and conference infrastructure.

The repositioning strategy is designed to transform Villa Roma from a legacy leisure destination into a modern, institutional-grade hospitality asset capable of competing in the broader northeast resort and conference market. This project demonstrates FAY’s ability to move beyond passive investment management and actively rebuild hospitality businesses from the ground up.
