Vast exposure of both International and domestic market with focus on Merger and Acquisitions (M&A) and Capital raising and very proficient in performing operational analyses, financial due diligence, market and feasibility studies, and valuation reviews specifically relating to hospitality real estate assets
Managed varied projects across sectors including hospitality, real estate acquisitions, corporate structuring, strategic management and fund raising
Successfully led and completed transactions with total deal value aggregating in excess of $4 billion and undertaken hotel asset management and transactional (acquisitions, dispositions, financing) assignments for the owners and support them in setting the strategic direction of each company; reviewing financial performance and commercial proposals; and maintaining relationships with the shareholder partners.
Hotel Asset Management experience includes direct oversight of over $2 billion of luxury hotel real estate, including some of the most visible and highly-rated properties in the world and experience in handling unionized properties throughout North America and Europe; Mixed-use developments; Developing, funding and implementing renovations; Negotiating agreements with third-party operators.
Mr Jafri has extensive experience working in large Fortune 500 companies as well as providing full-service hotel development and management. Within the hospitality industry, Mr Jafri is experienced in extracting results-oriented organic growth while maintaining stakeholder’s interests at the forefront of investment decisions.
Mr Jafri maintains experience in overseeing all aspects of hotel acquisition, EB5 development and asset management. Mr Jafri’s expertise in collaborating with brand representatives, institutional and private investors and joint venture partners assists with Fay’s objectives in growing and developing world-class Hospitality assets. He applies a passionate and tireless work ethic in leading hotel acquisition and development projects with national hotel brands and independent properties alike. As an Asian-American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) Ambassador, Mr Jafri brings his experience to provide insights and support to fellow members.
Mr Mabus is a seasoned hospitality executive with experience in hotels, conference centers and independent restaurants. His expertise in strong financial management, strategic planning, sales and marketing, operational efficiencies, client relations, employee engagement, capital project management and contract negotiations contribute to the success of Fay.
Mr Mabus excels at identifying and developing short and long-term strategies to achieve organizational objectives. He thrives at creating new innovative concepts and products that serve as competitive differentiators. Prior to joining our corporate office, Mr Mabus served as Managing Director of Doral Arrowwood Hotel & Conference Center, overseeing the resort comprised of 114 acres, 372 guest rooms, 60,000 square feet of conference space, golf course, multiple restaurants and the Pfizer Global Learning Center as well as acting as Chief Operating Officer at Horizon Hotels Limited.
An award winning, career hotelier with over 40 years of experience leading Hotels, Resorts, Executive Conference Centers, Hospitality Real Estate developments & re-developments, asset management & ownership representation as well as strategic capital investment.
Mr Burns has extensive experience building talented hospitality teams with a focus on re-culturing operating environments to drive performance. He also maintains a proven track record of maximizing the transactional value of hospitality real estate assets through creating operational improvements and utilising synergies.
Over the course of his career, Mr Burns has organically enhanced the transactional value of hospitality assets by over $200 million, asset managed market leading hotels (including the largest privately owned Ritz Carton Hotel portfolio in the world), led the new development/ re-development of a $1.5 billon luxury hotel portfolio, led the opening of nine world class luxury hotels, managed $150+ million in capital investment projects and was instrumental in the acquisition to sale process of $2+ Billion in hospitality real estate.

Emma is a graduate of the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) and as a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2015. Emma is also a ADR Group accredited civil and commercial mediator.
Providing full service legal support, across all aspects and areas of Fay’s commercial and financial businesses, Dealing and specialising in drafting, negotiating and instructing across multi-jurisdictional matters and many sectors including Hospitality & Real Estate.
Mr Patrick Kilkolly is an experienced Senior Associate and Chartered Accountant with 10 years experience in the Accounting and Finance industries.
Patrick’s experience includes working with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Ernst & Young (EY) in Brisbane, Sydney and London within the Financial Deals teams and Financial Assurance teams before joining Fay Investments in the Mayfair, London office. This working experience is comprised of advising ASX 100 and FTSE 100 listed clients spread across a wide variety of industries, economic sectors and countries through both financial audits and mergers, acquisitions and take overs.
Patrick’s role at Fay Investment involves performing investment identification, financial modelling, investor presentations, completion of acquisition processes and asset management across the US and Europe.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting/Finance Double Major) and is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.
Charlotte qualified as a Barrister of England and Wales in July 2019 (non-practising) and is a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple. Charlotte successfully completed the BPTC and Master of Laws in Bar Professional Training at the City Law School, London and graduated from the University of London International Programmes with a Bachelor of Laws degree.
Prior to joining Fay, Charlotte worked on a freelance basis as a County Court Advocate, allocated to the South-Eastern Circuit of England and Wales. She has extensive experience with a leading international Guernsey based law firm, including offshore jurisdiction experience in Court work, a range of Litigation disputes and specialist practice areas.
Charlotte provides legal support across multi-jurisdictional matters; handling legal and operational matters and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
Charlotte manages general corporate matters for Fay, including corporate governance matters, regulatory and compliance matters and operational aspects of asset management. Charlotte provides company secretarial support, assists the MD with day-to-day business operations.
Jacqueline Martinez is an accomplished business leader and licensed attorney with a track record of success overseeing all aspects of legal and business operations and optimizing organizational performance while mitigating risk and organizational exposure.
Jacqueline has worked across a number of law firms from 2013 to present, including the New Orleans Public Defenders Office, Sentient Law Group and Regiment Security Partners LLC as well as teaching as an Adjunct Professor at the City University of New York.
Jacqueline holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the New York Law School, a Bachelor of Arts from St Peter’s University and is an admitted member of the New York Bar Association.
Jacqueline is responsible for US based client relationships as well as investment and legal matters.
Abhishek Heda is a qualified and an established Chartered Accountant with over 14 years of professional experience in various aspects of finance including management of financial operations, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, internal controls, financial accounting and reporting.
He has widely acknowledged financial acumen and analytical skills.
One of the core team members of Fay Investment having over 10 years experience in Corporate Finance and Strategy. With specialised experience in acquisition, management and financing of a wide variety of assets. Preparing project reports and raising finance is her key strength.
Alongside the hospitality assets and sporting companies Sangeeta has worked on Private Aircraft financing transactions. She holds a Bachelors in Management Studies & MBA (Fin) obtained from Mumbai University.
Ms Madhavi Thanvi is a Compliance & Legal Professional with more than 10 years of post-qualification experience in corporate & regulatory matters. Diverse mix of compliance and legal expertise for various acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, asset sale and other strategic business arrangements in India & overseas.
Ms Thanvi’s role involves handling compliance, secretarial & legal work for entities in India and overseas and advising on corporate laws. She works in close association with finance, accounts and tax teams to understand the business requirements and meet the end results.
